Easy rolled hems
Sew 2- or 3-thread rolled hems without having to change the presser foot or needle plate. Simply move the stitch tab lever, located on the front of the machine.

Differential transport
Perfectly flat seams: Eliminates stretching or distortion in knit fabrics, as well as puckering in lighter fabrics. Can also be used for gathering.

Safety block point
As a safety feature, the HUSQVARNA® VIKING® AMBER™ S300 overlocker will not sew if the front cover is open or the presser foot is raised. An indicator light on the front of the machine lets you know if the stitch safety lockout is active.

Adjustable foot pressure
The presser foot pressure can be increased or decreased to accommodate different fabric thicknesses and ensure even fabric feed.

Tension release
Tension is released when the presser foot is raised to make thread changes easier.

Extra foot height
The foot has an extra high position, making it easier to sew thicker layers of fabric and heavier fabrics.

Threading guides for a wide range of thread types
The threading guides located on the top of the machine are designed to accommodate a wide variety of thread types, from regular overlock thread to thicker decorative threads.

Soft grip handwheel
The soft-grip handwheel is comfortable to use, while providing maximum control and a non-slip grip.

Adjustable stitch length
The stitch length can be adjusted as desired to accommodate different fabric thicknesses and a wide range of sewing techniques.

Adjustable cutting width
Whether you're sewing lightweight fabrics or heavy quilting, stitches form neatly on the edge without excessive looping or puckering.

Moving blade
Disengage the upper blade for special overlocking techniques.

Integrated wire cutter
Conveniently placed on your serger to quickly cut the chain stitch.
