• Presser foot lift – raises the presser foot.

Fast and accurate embroidery
The Innov-is V5LE has a top embroidery speed (up to 1,050 stitches per minute) that allows you to create large designs in a short time. The hoop is inserted and removed with a quick-slide mechanism, while the automatic thread cutter instantly cuts the top and bottom threads and the automatic thread remover cuts the connecting stitches to save you time.

Import and export of embroidery designs
Importing and exporting your embroidery designs via PC or USB memory is now even easier. Simply insert a USB memory stick, a card reader/writer, or connect the Innov-is V5 to your computer via the USB port and send your designs directly to the machine. With the optional Brother PE-Design software, you can convert numerous image file types into embroidery format (e.g., PES).
Yarn color chart from other manufacturers included
Never search for the right color again. Brother's built-in color chart clearly identifies embroidery colors with the corresponding spool numbers, making thread selection easy. Plus, the Innov-is V5 recognizes thread from five manufacturers. When your chosen embroidery requires a specific thread color, simply select the manufacturer's name from the on-screen information to view the matching color.
Resume function
In the event of a power failure, the Innov-is V5 returns to the exact point where it stopped and continues embroidering from that position.
