Controlled via app
The Skitch embroidery machine is powered by Brother Artspira*. Use the app to quickly change settings, track your progress, receive machine alerts, draw your own designs, convert images to cross stitch, digitize photos and portraits, and access stunning designs you can embroider right away.

In-app point tracking
Use Artspira's in-app stitch tracking to monitor your embroidery progress while you do other things, and you'll be notified when you need to change thread, rethread, change the bobbin, or replace the needle.

Free arm
Rounded or tubular items are no longer an obstacle. Simply slide items like bags, hats, and pant legs onto the free arm.

Precise embroidery placement
Use your mobile device's camera and Skitch's smart magnetic frame to position your design exactly where you want it, even before you start embroidering.

Embroidery Frame (Magnetic Frame with Individual Magnets)
No more fiddling with embroidery hoops! First place the fabric and stabilizer on the base hoop, then on the top hoop. Unlike a clamp hoop, it's easier to handle, with less movement and fewer burn marks or damage to the hooped fabric.

Wire cutter
Cuts both top and bobbin thread with the push of a button.

Bluetooth connectivity
Transfer your drawings from Artspira* directly to your Skitch. Create on the go, whenever, wherever, and however you want.

Get 100 exclusive embroidery designs by connecting your Skitch to your Artspira account. These designs are available only to Skitch users.

Needle threader
The Skitch needle threader does the job with the push of a button, so you don't have to. First, thread according to the guide on the machine, then press the lever and the needle will thread for you.

Bobbin winder:
Wind the bobbin using the built-in bobbin winder, then simply insert it into the bobbin case and thread it according to the guide on the machine, then replace the cover.

Adjustable thread tension:
Use the dial to quickly adjust the upper thread tension on your Brother Skitch single-needle embroidery machine.

Needle stop position:
Easily adjust the needle position up or down when the
car stops.

Start/Stop Button:
Start, pause and stop embroidery with the simple touch of a button.

Setting up the embroidery test:
You can use Artspira's "Test Run" feature to test the embroidery area on your Skitch before embroidering your design.
